This is one of my ‘spontanious poems’. I had been looking through my computer and found quite a few old poems that I had been meaning to post.
Here is one of my favorites:
It is wintertime and the snowflakes have begun to fall
We’re missing autumn and summertime the sun and wind and it all
We know how the earth spins and time takes her pass
But even though it all it seems to go so fast
Where did the summer days go when we were young and carefree
Laughing and running and playing, just you and me?
What about autumn walking through the cool crisp woods
Crunching leaves beneath our feet, the world just as it should?
Soon spring will come to show us all the colours and the sights and smells
We will welcome the warmth, watching the white snow melt
And when summer comes again and we’re dancing in the brook
We’re glad the time has passed, no matter how long it took.
Another good one may be:
We know that magic can be found
in the highest mountains, or deep underground
Sometimes magic is where you want it to be
like on dry land or in the rushing sea
But magic isn’t the land where fairies reside
but something is there, deep inside
It isn’t hiding in a dusty, dark nook
its right there, you just need to look
So take a deep breath, open your eyes
your heart is where the magic lies
Both are older poems, but I enjoyed writing them, and I hope you enjoyed reading them.

Due to my horrible lack of forgetfulness, I haven’t been posting new poems every week. For this I am totally sorry! I will, however, keep the blog running as often as I can.
And, just because I can, I’m posting a drawing I recently made.
Enjoy!

Here is my second poem of the week:
The mud squishes beneath our boots
while the snow starts to disappear
Because the snow is truly gone for spring
we’ll wonder if winter was really here
But for now the temperature is lukewarm
and there are puddles on the streets
We’ll run and splash and play in them
soaking our pant legs and our feet
For the weekend is the best time to play
even if our yards are full of mud
Because no matter how old you are
we know getting dirty is loads of fun!
So yeah, that’s it. I was kinda thinking about how it’ll be spring soon and that the snow will melt, leaving mud everywhere. I remember when I was a kid, I absolutely adored playing in mud. (I still do!) Believe it or not, when I was little I loved it so much I actually ate it.
So I basically hope that everyone else loves playing in the mud too!

So here it is – the poem you’ve all been waiting for. (I hope

Just a reminder to everyone to keep checking my site for new updates! It could be a poem, one of my geeky blog posts, or something else that probably won’t make sense.
Also, tomorrow is the first day I post a Poem Of the Week. Trust me – it’ll be great. Hope you all enjoy the snow!

Getting organized is hard, no matter who you are. It can be annoying too, if you have to work it into a schedule. I recently finished my organization. Read the rest of this entry »

So, I just started this whole blogging thing today, so I don’t know much. The whole plan of this is just a simple way for me to share my poetry. Personally, I enjoy both reading and writing poetry, so I hope you will enjoy it too.
